WHO WE ARE
Dedicated to uniting the skill and experience of recovery teams with those in the Bayshore area who are seeking lifesaving changes from substance misuse.
Hazlet's Hope is a peer based organization that was founded to help those struggling with substance use disorder.
Peer based means people who have first-hand experience with substance misue and recovery, have been professionally trained to meet 1 on 1 with those who are in search of a life away from drugs and alcohol. This includes friends and family members who have been impacted by addiction. Our support network and array of resources are available to everyone involved.

WHAT WE DO
We make sure our partners are empowered by creating opportunities for individuals and communities.
Hazlet's Hope Network is fighting against the stigmas and the negative stereotypes associated with substance misue that make people feel ashamed to seek help, or cause people to be treated in a way that only further isolates them, both of which increase the likelihood they will resort back to drug use.
The work we do at our Non-Profit Organization is aimed at providing support using our peer approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges.
We accomplish this by working as a direct intermediary between those with substance use disorder and the local police departments in the event of a substance related arrest, or as a stand alone resource in scenarios that don't involve the police. In addition to initiating recovery, we work directly with treatment centers, and provide follow-up communication to ensure a seamless path to long-term health and wellness.
Hazlet Hope's vision to use peer to peer based intervention to overcome addiction is a refreshing and much needed adjustment to approaching the opportunity of overcoming addiction.
